Sophia is a specialist in the biology of ageing in academia and industry. She has worked as a Research Scientist and Business Development Manager within a specialised CRO, delivering commercial solutions for the longevity, nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industries. Holding a PhD from Northumbria University, completed in collaboration with a nutraceutical company, her research focused on the role of NAD+ in ageing, conducting human dietary supplement studies. Sophia is uniquely positioned combining her scientific background in the biology of ageing field, with her commercial insight into product development and refinement from the perspective of both a developer and of a CRO.
